On sunday I took Isaac, who is a friend from work, and his brother Jay. I took my AR15 and Winchester 94. It didn't take long before they were asking when we could go shooting again. And they were asking about the price of the Bushmaster. I told them that Bushmasters run about $1,000 give or take, but that they were other brands which might be cheaper.

On monday Isaac approached me and said that he and his brother were discussing going 1/2 and 1/2 on an AR15. I doubt that they could afford a Bushmaster, so I was wondering if you guys might know of a brand of AR's which is good but more affordable.

You should be able to get a A2 20"HBAR bushmaster for around $850 or less.
