Lawlessness, looting, rioting with hostages taken and violence. What a mess.

I was hoping people would try to behave better than people in a third world nation would behave. But doesn't look like that's gonna happen.

The looting after Hurricaine Andrew was much worse with lots of gunplay between looters and the police.  

Katrina/NO is just getting more press.

Not really.

The LA riots were pretty bad, bu also contained to very small areas.

There was no looting after the major earthquakes here in Los Angeles, doncha know.

I remember the looting in So. Miami after Hurricane Andrew.  I remember them laughing, carrying looted goods past National Guard troops armed with M-16s with EMPTY magazines.

Looters are the scum of the earth.  Anyone who would take advantage of the disasterous misfortune of others by stealing their shit are sub human.
