At least with thread lockings, someone signs off on 'em.

Most mods make a post they are sending it to the pit.

Wasn't referring to that thread specifically, just that whenever threads disappear (or go to the pit) it is a little disconcerting (to have no idea who sent them off into the aether or why)

I understand the need for the CoC, but threads gettin glocked & vaporized puts a serious damper on open discourse.

(LOL, I mistyped "getting locked" and it came out "gettin glocked" - funnier that way! )
