Is there some indication of who sends em there?

At least with thread lockings, someone signs off on 'em.

Most mods make a post they are sending it to the pit.

you are refering to the thread with people wanting to discuss you 2 threads that were locked? because in the pit it can be discussed freely without regard to the coc. your issue is with aimless. you need to discuss this with him.

Wasn't referring to that thread specifically, just that whenever threads disappear (or go to the pit) it is a little disconcerting (to have no idea who sent them off into the aether or why)

I understand the need for the CoC, but threads gettin glocked & vaporized puts a serious damper on open discourse.

(LOL, I mistyped "getting locked" and it came out "gettin glocked" - funnier that way!
