What the government did was wrong but that does not make stupidity a virtue. Having said the people in the Koresch compound that were tried for murder were acquitted… the jury must have felt the were justified in using force. |

Weren't the charges against Weaver also dropped? If so then wasn't the return of deadly force against deadly force justifiable?

 Now, I don't know your local Po-po, but Im pretty sure they're smarter than some guy that puts a 14X scope on a battle rifle then expects to use it in his front yard.

Reminds me of the last Gunfight in Austin (not these little gang related drive by's, but the last Old West one. At 100 yards, one man pulled his colt single action army, the other his rifle. At trial it was deemed a suicide.
That reminded me of a book that said there was a special place in hell for those who choose to die rather than fight on another day (very paraphrased). |

i don't want to "put the crosshairs on" anyone, but i will if i am attacked by someone determined to kill me. i'm not going to exclude anyone based on their affiliations. i'll just leave it at that. oh yeah: IBTL ETA: i don't want to be the next koresh or weaver for a multitude of reasons, but shooting it out with the .gov is one of them. |
