Lube the sliver up with Brake Free,it will slip right out of your foot.Then plug the hole in your foot with a cleaning pacth soaked in some Bacardi 151,this will dull the pain.

It's not really that bad, I'm just kind of wimpy. And I like to complain. My personal ER doctor friend is on his way over, he doesn't realize yet exactly what kind of a house call he's making. I told him to bring nurses and morphine. |

A good woman who cleans & scrubs the floors on her knees would have found that sliver before it damaged you. You must instruct the GF to do a better job of tidying up the house if she wishes to remain in your good graces.

I jammed a two inch screw into the upper middle part of my foot once, I was going to just yank it out with pliars but had my 12 year old daughter use a philips screw driver to take it out instead.
Size of a tent stake? Use robogrips

Rodent make sure you get everything cleaned out.
I had a good splinter in the ball of my foot when I was a kid and I thought I got everything but apparently some material was left. Couple months later Ihad to have it cut out with a big ole ovocaine shot through the ball of my foot. Felt reeeeeeal good ya know. |

EB got part of it out, after digging around in there with needles and tweezers. Part of it is still in there. It probably only weighs a couple pounds, but it LOOKS big.
