take a 5.56 that frags, does about the same as a 150gr 30-30 soft point

I would prefer something along the lines of a 30-30 or 7.62x39 if you want an AK. I have and like the 5.45x39, but there is not much to choose from ammo wise. |

If a 55grain q3131a can take down a LARGE hog, the 5.45 with SP will do fine. bem |

Ask AR15KityKat. He posts every time after his pig hunts on the AR15 board. He seems to do really well with it.

Depends on how big the hog is. I prefer 7.62N myself.
