I got that notice the other day too.  Glad to see their starting to catch up with technology.  Now if we could only ship based on the EZ check alone.

However, it will probably not be adopted because so many guys are scared to death of the ATF.


False rumor: "You can only ship to the Premise address on the license, NEVER to the other address of the FFL holder"  BULLSHIT
The BATFE says that a distributor, or whomever, can actually send firearms to an FFL at either address on the license. However, try to get the distributor to do that. They will only send to the premises address.  I asked the local BATFE while I was awaiting my new FFL about it and even the local regional director. They said it was perfectly fine to ship them to the FFL at the other address on the license.  No one would do it, so, while I waited 4 months for my new license with new address, I couldn't order firearms.

And my personal favorite "YOU MUST NEVER ABBREVIATE ON THE 4473 form!!"

Bullshit.  You just have to use commonly accepted and understood abbreviations. You MUST Spell out yes or no on the 11 or so questions though.
