law abiding that is, but after watching this talk show were this then 10yr was raped and abducted by his karate instructor in louisana in 1984. His father couldn't handle it and waited for the criminal to be extradicted and stood at phonebooth in the airport. And when the rapist was being escorted, the father walked up to him and shot him oncein the side of the head. Father was looking at life but DA made a deal.
case2
13yr old was molested came and told parents and POLICE. Police blew it off even though the girl had a death threat on her life for telling. Angeres dad so, momscalled the fellow to the sigth that he molested her daugther. She was pretenteding to be a teenager. Whem the child molester arrived she told him who's mother she was and he replied " let me explain". By that time dad comes from across the street with 12gauge in hand and upon hearing " let me explain" shoots once and the molester runs in the woods. dad got 7years and served 3 and the molester got 5 but only served 2. Apparently dad commited a violent crime and the child molesters crime didn't fit the bill. The daugther was awarded 1mill due to the sheriff dept dropping the ball, cause the family tried to do the rigth thing first.

JUST recently an 8yr oldgirl was attacked by a man who kicked and beat her, placed a plastic bag over her head. She survived (physically anyway) and the prep is at large?
This was on the news while my 17mth daugther was in my lap. I don't know what I would do should someone do her something. Sometimes it makes me wonder what type of world we live in, with people doing such monsterous things and serving less time then the mother or father that says "enough is enough"

I agree with that statement.  But I have been in a VERY similar situation as these people have.  The thing that stops me is I KNOW I will get time and that means I will be away from my family.

I can't make my family suffer twice, but I sure would like to see him dead.

I thought the guy in LA was acquitted by a jury trial.

Ya, I'd agree with that. Being that I don't have any kids (only 21), I'm just going by what I feel would be the right thing.

It would take ALOT of being ignored by the police for me to go that route though.

If my Daughter were still alive I would do everything I could to see it do the maximum but my child needs me and although it would be hard to let go of the anger, I'd have to be there for her.

Now should it kill her.  Then my wife will just have to understand, but at the end of the day I'll still be breathing.  Maybe in jail, maybe not.... but it will be dead, period.

if it happens to mine....

Shoot shovel shutup.

one missing molester that would never be found again.

With all due respect, I actually had a cop WARN me not to do anything to the other guy.  He stated that if anything happened to him that I would be the VERY first person they visited.

So it isn't as easy to get away with as you think.

The courts do not treat victoms of sex crimes very fairly IMHO
