After I pull the weeds out from between the cracks and partitions of the driveway, how can I seal it up so weeds don't grow again?

What type of cement patch?

Thanks

you got cracks for a reason, for expansion of the concrete.   Just use Weed B Gone on the weeds

Get a chemical defoliant from Walmart, Round-up makes one version that lasts 4 months.

do you mean the expansion joints when you say cracks

you can use a soft tar to fill it in, it will still let the cret expand

Maybe it would work better in the nice climates in CA, but I tried to patch all the cracks in my driveway a year ago with concrete and it did not work.

I killed all the weeds with roundup first, then used a pressure washer to blow out everything in the crack. After that I filled them in with concrete.

One winter later and all the concrete I put down is cracked and chipped away. I should have known better. I guess that's what happens when you live in a place that can swing anywhere from about -30 to 100 degrees throughout the year.

that's what I was thinking.  Tar stays pretty plable right?  This is California valley where we rarely freaze.

Fill the cracks with valcum (I'm sure that's spelled wrong).  It's a flexable, clauk gun applied, material that expands and contracts with the concrete.

They make a concrete filler that comes in a caulk tube.

Hire someone with a license to spray a STERILANT, not a defoliant or simple weed killer or herbicide.  This stuff is potent and is very regulated.

After that stuff works use a power sprayer to clean out the cracks really well.  Then fill the crack with a joint sealing compound, preferably hot-poured (i.e. must be heated and poured).  May require you to use a gas burner and a sacrificial pot but it may be worth it to you.  That will seal the crack but be flexible enough to give a little as the concrete expands/contracts.

I would just spray it with Round-up.  I bought a big gallon (maybe 2 gallon) jug with spray handle for about $10 from wally-world.

It's been about 6 months and I haven't had to respray.

Pour vinegar on the weeds. It will change the PH of the soil so that nothing will grow for about 4 months. Cheap, easy and ecologically sound.

I've used some rubber-based filler before that sets sort of like RTV. It will expand and compress.

Peeing on the weeds will kill them too

Pour a 1/2 gallon of gasoline over the cracks about once a month.
Not good for the environment, but it gets rid of the weeds

Roundup or Rehab, depending on whether your question was metaphorical or not.
