Since there was a poll on soap used, I figure the next toiletry I'm interested in hearing about is pit stick. So what do you use? I use "Old Spice". I just like it a lot!
Axe Dry "Essence" is my preference, but I'll also use various types of Degree.
Speed Stick, clear gel. No messy white residue. Active Fresh scent.
Speed Stick, clear solid (ocean breeze?)
FWIW.........I don't suggest using anything that has Aluminum in the contents. Bad for human consumption. 98% of the stuff on the market (men and women) contain aluminum somethingoranother. Supposedly prolonged exposure can be toxic. check the contents label before purchasing. If you take the time to just look at othe products you'd be surprised to see just how many use aluminum. eta Speed Stick does NOT contain any |
Old Spice is for old men..
gel's suck and feal nasty sprays suck and you blow 1/2 the can in the air i tryed the hippie mineral rock thing, but it dont work well either, but did work nice if used with regular stick i use degree stick |
Tom's of Maine - - - all natural.
Regular pit sticks irritate the hell out of me. Disconnector |
Old spice. It seems to last longer , especially out on hot long camp trips.
Right Guard Clear stick
regular stick stains my shirts Gels suck forget sprays |
Gillette series ClearGel cool wave. It's basically the only thing I can use, everything else I've tried causes my underarm to break out in a rash.
Old Spice burns the shit out of my under arms, I use regular Speed Stick Musk scent mostly but do wear my Perry Ellis or Aqua di Gio brand deodorants when going out.
OK, OK. You guys that don't wear any? Are you sure you don't stink? Ever asked for a bipartisan confirmation of this suspicion?
Ohh, I stink ALOT! But I live in California and it will be 100+ again today. So I will be sweatinging and stinking 5 minutes after my shower no matter what the hell I do. In the sun I can EASILY sweat 20 oz's an hour. Sgat1r5 |

Nothing, too much irritation, but I love the water and take a shower twice a day.
BTW, the wife is jealous of me because I don't stink at the end of the day. |
Either the hippie mineral rock thing or Secret depending on what I'm doing that day.
You are right, aluminum is very bad for you. I use "Thai Crystal" which is mineral rock. No scent and kills all odors. One "rock" last for about 6 months or more and cost about $8. |
Why do you go with the powder stuff? I toss that crap when the woman buys it mistakenly. |
The hippie rocks don't work very well for me. I use Mitchum Gel and I don't stink. No offense, but what ISN'T bad for humans these days?
Chris |
will only use deoderant, wont use aluminum products on my skin.
i use speed stick |
You don't have a woman SGatr15 |
Whatever is cheapest at the time, old spice right now, was marked down due to package being open at Sams
Don;t appreciate the trolling. |

It's not a powder - that's just what they decided to name of the stuff.... |

Tom's of Maine.
(almost a hippy mineral stone) No aluminum in the armpits for me thanks. |
+1 I never heard of such a thing. |
Cheap Old Spice deodorant. Tried the rock before, but didn't work well on the odor situation.
Speed Stick, musk flavor.
For those of you who don't want aluminum in your deodorant, be aware that some Speed Stick does contain aluminum zirconate (think that's the correct ingredient). Some don't (like the musk), but many do. |
+1 I think we just stumbled onto the answer to the eternal question, "Why do so many gun show attendees stink?" |
+1 on the Speed Stick, in whatever flavor is on sale that day, but ONLY the anti-perspirant, not the deoderant. |
Same here. |
Just FYI, most of the mineral sticks contain aluminum sulfate salts, including the Tom's Antiperspirant & Deodorant. |
