I can't decide what to get.  My boss just handed me $750-- he said that when he balanced the books it showed that I never cashed a check fron 7-00 --yee-ha!  I'm considering a Bushmaster v-match 24' upper and a jewell trigger for a complete lower I already have.  I also have my eye on the leupold 12-60 spotter.  I already have an AK, FAL, and 2 AR's and cannot buy more assault weapons because I'm in Ka.  I held the new Rem 700 titanium todad, boy is it light (5.5lbs.)  I'd also like a 6.5-20 LR to top the bushy but I'll have to wait because the cost.  What would you guys get if you just had $750 handed to you??  This is like free money!

Give it to me.  I will buy a nice rifle and let you know how it shoots.  I will also clean it and let you shoot it if you ever come to Missouri.

Do you remember WORKING for that free $$$?

Really, whatta nice surprise!

Go for the V-MATCH UPPER.
I just got one and I like it.  Besides, you've stated the other half of the gun is "waiting".
It makes sense to complete it.
Have fun.

Those look nice Troy.  How much are they and which "custom configuration" do you suggest.  I'll be target shooting and varmint hunting.  What makes these uppers better?

Barry at Metalcraft built me a target/varmit rifle on my stripped DPMS lower for $1743. That's with the works. It's one hell of a rifle, but you'll need an extra grand to make it happen. But he is the man -- no doubt about that.

MOA, Barry uses Krieger barrels and a gas block of his own design. He produces a superior product. I don't know if he sells complete uppers or not, but he can build you a great rifle on your lower.

They're crappy pictures, but here's what he built me.

Jewell trigger, ambi safety, 24" bull Krieger in 1/9 twist, Young National Match bolt and carrier, JP Enterprises gas block, free float handguard and heat sink, tactical latch charging handle, ARMS #36 EX base, GunKote finish, etc.

Hog-wild is my middle name. [whacko]

What options are there available for AR buttstocks these days? The stock A2 is not conducive to great accuracy.

Thanks Troy. I'll try to locate one of his old posts. Maybe he has a picture. The stock job is not all that great.
