Does anyone know which one of these parks would provide for a better surface when applying a spray on finish such as Gun Kote or Moly Resin?  I have the capability to do both but from what I've read Zinc is more durable but everywhere I look I see people using Manganese more often.

Does anyone have any recommendations?  Like always I am grateful for the help.

Won't make a difference for Moly coat. Current milspec is the manganese phosphate coating. I use this and Norrell Molycoat with great success.
