It was an all day job, but it feels good to get it done. Now I can sleep well knowing they all are protected against Mr. Rust. I do this once a year and haven't had a spot of rust on any gun in 20 years.

Holy crap, thats alot of gats to clean in one sitting!

I just finished cleaning my CZ-75B after taking it out for a run of 500 rounds today. Took me 1.5 hours to clean.

The guns I shoot most all of the time are the Wilson Protector, the Sig P220ST and the P229S.

now you need a big bore revolver like a .454 casull or the new .460. full power loads rock and you can always switch to .45LC for plinking.

Nice collection.........BUT, Why do you have to clean them all once a year? If I take a rifle or handgun to the range, I come home and clean it, period. That way I know it is spotless and has a fresh coating of oil except when in actual use.

Most were already clean. They just needed disassembly and oiling.

Now I'm starting to worry about my mags rusting. Most of them haven't been cleaned on the inside in 5-20 years. I'd bet I have 120+ pistol mags and 250+ rifle mags. How in the fook do you clean 370 mags? I'm thinking of just filling a big bucket full of kerosene and dumping all the mags in there and let em soak overnight. Y'all think that would work OK?? Any ideas??

Thank you! I mainly only shoot 3 guns on a regular basis and I clean those after I shoot. The others only get shot every few years.

Thanks guys for the complements. This represents about 25 years of scraping together any extra money I had and buying the guns I love. Most of you guys are probably pretty young compared to me, so you'll get there one day and own all of your dream guns.

Haaahaaaa! I'm an old guy. I can't take those hard recoiling guns anymore. When I was in my 20's, I shot a Model 29 44 mag (full power loads) everytime I went to the range. It would break my hand now. :)

Here's a collection that puts them all to shame.

These are some pictures I took about 25 years ago when I visited Colonel Farley Berman at his home. He was a very distant relative of mine and the only time I ever met him was this weekend stay at his house. The collection was in his home at this time. He died in 1999 a few years after creating a museum to house his collection. It is located in Aniston Alabama. This collection is reported to be the most extensive in the world and contains more than 6000+ pieces. The collection is reported to be worth over $100 million. These pictures probably contain about 20% of the total collection. The sword w/ the jewels is worth millions and was owned by some prince of Syria in the 1600's. The silver service was owned by Hitler. Farley also had everything from Mussilini's bedroom the day Mussolini was killed. These were numerous assignation secret-agent weapons like belt-buckles that fired, gear-shift knobs that fired, and musical instruments that fired bullets. He had over 100 finely made European dueling pistols sets. A travel set owned by Napolean. Not to mention 100's of works of art by Remington and other greats. Farley was in the OSS during WWII and I speculate he just shipped thousands of things to his house after the war was over. When you asked him how he got all of this stuff, he'd answer "next question".

Sorry for the poor quality of the pics. I was about 20 years old at the time and only owned a POS camera. The girl at the bottom was my GF at the time in case you're wondering. :) Farley in the the picture standing next to the Gatling Gun.

Those are my car guns. They are worth less than most of the other autos. If they get stolen, I'd be less upset about those than the other autos. I'd tried to sell them a few times. You're lucky to get $400 for them. For that price, I'll just keep em in my cars.

I bought one of the those in the mid-80s, oh man, best the $400 I ever spent, it is one of my fav guns. I've shot more than 10,000 rounds of 22LR thru it. Unfortunately according to S&W's website, the MSRP on those guns is $1,000.

Oh man!!! He had a Rolls that was armor plated and bullet proof. I think the story was it belonged to the Queen of England and she had shipped to the US when she visited in the 70's. They actioned it off and Farley bought it. I rode in that Rolls to Farley's Country Club for lunch the day we toured his house. Did he fire blanks out of the secret agent guns when you visited? He loved doing that.
