Imbrog|io - I don't think any of us Jack Booted Thugs, ever stated that one should not care what the UN does.
I think that everyone should be on the lookout for activities by the politicians int he UN to attempt to subvert the individuals legitimate firearm ownership.
I realise I am running a minefield with some and the RKBA issue - however with all rights come responsibilities, my thoughts on the founding fathers intent would be - anyone doing something stupid or illegal with a gun would likely be resulting in death - so there was no need to infringe upon peoples rights - these days in the warm fuzzy light of PC - people don't get hung or shot like they used too.
Most of the groups the UN is taking guns away (and don't tell me what you read) you would not want them to have guns - these are criminal gangs - they might call themselves a militia or rebels but Soldiers do not murder women and children and conduct rapes etc.
I still believe that the UN is a well intentioned organization - however the majority of the countries represented are non-democratic (and some are childlike) - they view gun control (as it is) as people control.
