Spent a week at my friend's ranch with 9 of my best friends from HS.  This place is located dead smack in the middle of texas.

I didn't get too many pics because I was trashed most of the time or I was hunting.

The birds we got on the first night there

A rabit being cleaned

A skinned rabbit "gift wrapped"

One of the water tanks on the ranch.  I drove through the corner of it and hit a hole big enough that my front tires went completely under water.  Didn't get pics because it was dark.

Our little set up by the tank while we were building a dock.  Pit with ribs, brisket, and steaks and a keg of cold ass beer.

Some of our :guns:

And a pics of my truck

Cool.  But you are gonna want to put a graphic warning in the title.  Some people can't handle blood for some reason.

Plus you are gonna get slammed for the gun pic with an empty beer can next to the guns.

Added the warning.

As for the beer can, boo freaking hoo, all guns were cleared and set on the table with the chambers open.  It's a table, beer cans sometimes go there.  But I understand the safety issue, nobody hunted while drinking.

Looks like you had a blast.  I've got a bud with about 5k acres past Comstock on the river.  We go blue quail hunting there every Feb.  Quite a few coyotes, rabbits, foxes and bobcats too.  Your pics remind me of our hunts.

We don't see too many of the larger 4 legged critters out there, but there is the occasional coyote.

Those are dove.  I shot 3 quails but I was too close and blew them apart so I just left them out in the brush.

How about a 5 gallon propane tank with a road flare strapped to it, set afloat in the middle of a pond and shot from 300 yards out?

Thanks for the good post....

two questions - what kinda truck is the red four door?

and posted by someone else "no evil guns in the pix" - I do see one with a tac latch.

It is a shame that our two dove hunts did not turn out like years past, the the food keeps getting better (worth the trip).

Later,

Badredfish

I shot about 2 boxes at birds (quails and dove) and a 3rd box on rabbits and other crap like using my shotgun to cut down fire wood.

nothin more fun than shooting doves.  Good eating too! Try wrapping the breasts in bacon and throw them on the grill.  Or pluck and de-gut them and fry them up whole

I've got a 99 f350, same exact config except for the bumper. where did you get that, and how much did it set you back if you don't mind me asking.

I got both the front and rear for 450 when I bought the truck because of a commercial discount.

You can find them for 600-900.

They are a different brand.  But with any front end replacement you'll eventually get rust on them.  Just touch them up with some paint.

I love mine because I don't really have to worry about hitting gates and whatnot.
