There is an article on foxnews.com about a possible Newt Gingrich presidential run in '08.  Any ideas or comments.  I liked him while he was speaker, and he is one smart dude.

He'd be way better than Guliani or McCain.

He's a smart, articulate Conservative.  In other words, no way in hell he'd ever be elected.

True, but think about it.....

If they went so completely nuts over Bush, who is a comparative lightweight in terms of Conservatism, they'd go apoplectic over Newt. I don't think that would go over very well. This is no longer the 90's. People are beginning to see liberals for the lunatics they are.....
