I doubt this is what you mean, but it is really cool.http://40mm.simplenet.com/page5.html

Not sure of it's current status, but the Gilbert USAS12 was a mag fed 12g which resembled a large AR15. It, along with shotguns like the Striker 12 and Streetsweeper, were designated as destructive devices and had to be registered. The deadline for this registration was this past May, IIRC. Even before it's reclassification from a normal "sporting" arm, the Gilbert was pricey. It was designed to shoot 2 3/4 inch Winchester loads.

I think the closest cosmeticly would be the Mossberg M500 bullpup. Out of production, but it looks nice.

The USAS12 is a great gun but they require that you get a ATF tax stamp to transfer them. If you did not get them registered by the first of May they are now Illegal and can never be. They can't be sold or traded and are subject to seizure. You will also be considered a felon just for having it.

We had one semi auto USAS 12 which we used in Three Gun Matches here. Good capacity, so no mag changes. Drawbacks are that it is cumbersome and heavy. As an full auto it would make a nice toy.

Check out the Saiga 12, its part of a new line of guns all based on the AK47 design.

This one is pretty nifty.

A .223 pump that uses AR mags, plus a 12 guage shotgun in one.
