What is going on with Colorado?  If Kerry wins the state he's going to be sorry he pushed that weird electoral vote amendment because he'll be splitting the state with Bush.

He's not going to win and the amendments is failing.  Even if it passes it will be struck down by the Supreme Court as it is unconstutional.

Both Kansas and Maine have split electoral voting. However, the Colorado law would most likely not pass constitutional review for two reasons: 1) It applies to the current election, even though people voting in this election are not sure how their electoral votes will be allocated, and 2) The Constitution specifically states (in Article I, Section2) that the state LEGISLATURE shall direct how its Electors are chosen. The ballot item is a ballot iniative, not a legislative act.

A federal court ruled today it can remain on the ballot... we'll see if it is appealed.
