What the heck is the point?
Hey, ouch! Stop shooting me you ass hole! A BB gun probably causes more damage. A BB is 4.5mm |
The smallest semi-auto pistol? That woud be my peni. Zen "This is my peni, there are many like it, but this one is small" |
if I found one for $50, with a bunch of ammo, I'd buy it for shits and grins.
no, but they may be the perfect size for your other hobby...dolls!!!

$4,200.00 Kolibri Semi Auto 2.7mm centerfire pistol. This is the world,s smallest functional automatic pistol. These were made in the 1920s in Austria. This particular pistol is in 99% as new condition with the ORIGINAL clamshell casing and 2 rounds of Ammo. It is serial numbered 25. The inside of the green satin case is marked "Kolibri." Rarely do these

[9mm defender]It's SHOT PLACEMENT that counts![/9mm defender]
Why? Because it's there... I'd love to have one. By the way, the ME of the 2.7mm Kolibri is somwhere around a whopping 2 foot pounds.
Asking why this was made, is like asking why the tourbillon action exists in high end watches. It's an outstanding achievement, even if it's not really necessary... |
LOL. "Dude, are you pinching me or something?" |
that sort of thing dont suprise me, around that time everyone was in a sort of fever to be the ONE to make the smallest or most advanced (insert object here)
Reminds me of a story i was told a while back, Way back when sometime around the early 1920's. Some American company thought it was king of the tool and die biz. So it decided to poke a bit of fun at its closest competitor (some German company) about who could make the smallest drill bit. So the American company makes this really tiny drill bit and sends it to Germany. A short time later the drill bit is sent back to the American company with several smaller holes drilled through that really small drill bit. |

and as the kiddies say: owned |

[fat kid on a rock in the river]OW! OW! (girlish tone)AUGH! (even more girlish tone)I'LL KICK YOUR FUCKING ASS! OW! OW![/fat kid on a rock in the river] |

That looks nearly as dangerous as a paper cut. If you shoot someone in the ear they'll surely need an asprin.
hmmm, offered in 2.7 mm and 3mm. what are the pros/cons of each?
Ballistically they are equals. Remember, the size of the round doesn't matter, it's shot placement! |
They come in very handy if your ever charged by an enraged bull mouse.......
SRM |
Sure, the silencer is really effective, but the bullet doesn't even come out of it.
Remember, the 2.7mm you carry is better than the .45 you left at home. |
[9mm]Yeah dude! With modern day hollow points, it has almost the same ballistics of a .45 hardball so shut up.[/9mm] |
Now how in the WORLD did you turn this into a 9mm vs. 45 thread? Christ you people are hopeless.
Again, I'd take that over ANY 1911 you offered me... barring Castros which is housed in a local museum...
This hobby would me more rewarding to many of you if you simply did not have to judge everything by 'tactical' or not. The Kolibri is flat out cool... |
Because compared to a 45, a 9mm is clearly the same as a round a third the size or less. |

Office toy. Like the desktop mini pool tables, and dart boards. |
Competitor one-ups a firm |
If I remember correctly, it was used primarily for "parlour shooting." I still need to find out what that is, but it's probably something like target practice in the lunch room while on break.
ok im a little slow on the draw, so is the story true or not? |
No, but it is still a good one. |

Do you prefer big ol' pancake nipples, or little quarter size nipples?
Include 9mm or 45, or 3mm or 2.7mm in your responce so we can see if there is a correlation. Because here at ARFCOM. We are all about science! |

They have one in Oklahoma at the Jim Davis Gun Museum. I used to go there with my grandfather when I was a kid. |
Do they have a belt-fed model? Might be good for mosquito control.
OUCH!!!! GOOD ONE! |
