Actually I am not too worried about a Kerry presidency either.

I have already mailed in my ballot for Bush, but I think Kerry would be a DOA president.

1) His appointees to the cabinet won't get through Congress.

2) He has been a non-factor in the Senate so he won't be able to build coalitions to get his mandates done.

3) He changes his mind too often.

4) He is going to be the whinist bitch ever blaming all of his failures on a Republican Congress.

Let's see, it was either Bush or Gridlock, so if I decided against Gridlock, that leaves only one doesn't it?

Personally I think seat-belt laws and other forces safety measures are just a way to keep stupid people alive and breeding. If you're too fucking dumb to use something that is designed to sav your life when another stupid person rams into you (or you ram into someone else), then good ridance... who wants stupid people polluting the gene pool anyway. It's just a way to keep voters alive and insurance pay-outs lower...

As with most of the laws, where the man is supposed to be looking out for the common man who is too stupid to take care of himself and needs his hand to be held through the span of his idiot life.

Marriage? The only reason this is such an issue is for the fiscal benefits. Things like auto and home owners insurance rates are better for married couples... I'm sure there are other things that also fit into this... If people were in an uproar for a simple legally binding document then .gov would probably say, "whatever, do what you want" but when it means that more people may get their hands on .gov's money it becomes a morality issue.

IF you think about the whole process of marriage it's kind of ridiculous anyway... nothing physically changes... it's all paper and words that in the grand scheme of universe means very little.

I'm not buying that shit about the gun laws though... If there's a will therei's a way. Politics is such a slimy, sneaky, underhanded game, that I would never give them the benefit of the doubt that they could fuck it up more than it already has been. Even the most extreme gun advocate in congress would fold if a back alley deal was to be made that would ultimately benefit them. I don't trust a single person in D.C. They all lie and not one of them has an ounce of integrity when it comes to actually representing people who believe in things liek the Constitution.
