I did something like that many years ago.  I was driving down a road through a marshy area here in NM.  It was dried out on top and pure mush underneath the crust.  It took us about 8 hours to dig it out.  I thougt we were doomed at the time as it was about 20 miles to the nearest inhabitaiton.

I feel your pain...

The bottom was not nearly s solid as I'd hoped...33" swampers will only get you so far.

That last picture is of getting pulled out by a big a** tow truck (not shown are the 4 other trucks and drivers who came to laugh at our expense)

It's amazing how much worse you can get stuck with a 4x4 than you can with a 2WD vehicle.

That is funny as hell!

Amazing how much fun you can have with a 4x4, a little mud and lots of brewskies!  I can just picture what happened:  "Here...hold my beer and HANG ON!"

I came home a couple of weeks ago with muck and mire all over my truck.  I think of it as a badge of courage...but my missus just shakes her head and mutters under her breath about "little boyz and their toyz!".

I haven't washed it yet.  She thinks I should.  I just remind her it is a TRUCK and if she wants something washed, she can wash her Infiniti!  ("Riiiight..." is all I get from her.)

Womenz just don't understand us!

my favorite part was when TRG just stopped the damn truck, told me it was stuck and that THEN i could drive...................

as opposed to 10 minutes and 4 man-overboards prior to then when he climbed into the drivers seat and LOCKED THE DOORS!!!!!!!!!!!
