Just got a new rifle, however this one has a m-16 bolt carrier after opening it up? Is this common I have never had this before, my other guns bolt carriers are milled.
It is semi, lmao I didn't get that lucy.

Oly uses M16 carriers but they mill about 1/4" from the sear trip surface so that it can not be used in M16s.

There are at least five different types, only one of which is a 16, and two of which sort-of look like a 16 but aren't.

Just the first time I have seen a bolt carrier like this, no auto exp so looked it up on the net and said it was a full auto carrier.

It is basically the heaviest bolt carrier available besides the '16 carrier... Oly doesn't expose the firing pin, or anything else of that nature... They just mill the back end a bit... |
