I've had my SUV for 18 months and have 41,000 miles on it.
That comes to just over 27,000 miles a year. At $1.97 per gal. of gas and 14mpg...

Before I moved closer to work I had a 60mile roundtrip each day here in San Diego. That's 14,400 just for work driving.
Just recently moved within 10 miles of work. This should definately make life easier on my car. |

Roughly 40K/year. Luckily, about 36k of that is in a company car!

Too many! About 22k per year. Fortunately, my wife and I commute together so only 1 car gets driven a lot.

130 miles a day -65 each way.
They say it's worth it though...to live out in the country...I'm not so sure yet

I should state that some of those miles were not work related as I was driving to my fiancees home which was 165 miles from mine on Saturdays to spend sunday with her and then drive back and go to work I work in construction had commercial jobs scattered through out the state from south Florida to central west etc some days had to drive 12 hrs a day just to make an appearance on each jon
