Not sure if anyone has seen, heard or remarked on this incident but this was passed on to me and I wanted to get it out.  maybe some of you Ohio guys could shed some light.

 "Good Tuesday morning! John Kerry brought his "front porch meeting" to
our
 Canonsburg, PA neighborhood on Labor Day morning. Since you will never
hear
 the truth from the TV or print media I thought that you should know from
 someone who was `almost' there. The residents who live on the street
where
 the event took place were not allowed to attend. Kerry shipped in
 approximately 90 invitation only VIPs. In addition, there was a hard
luck
 case who was about to lose her job at USAIR and another was an elderly
woman
 who was having health care problems. Neither one was from this
neighborhood.
 The street was closed to all traffic the night before and all residents
on
 the street were REQUIRED to remove their Bush/Cheney signs. The
sympathetic
 police officers on duty told us that Kerry used imminent domain to claim
the
 street for his purposes. Residents who have homes within the perimeter
 (approximately 1 full block) were kept behind a line away from the
partisan
 crowd. The rest of us were not allowed within the 1 block cordon. A
neighbor
 from across the street came to the line where we were being kept and
asked
 us to come onto his property. The police told us that we could stand on
this
 mans FORMERLY private property! This was set up so that Kerry's views
could
 be heard - but not the neighbors. About 30 peoples (mostly neighbors)
shouts
 echoed down the street "Let the neighbors in". We could barely hear
Kerry
 speaking with his microphone because press buses were used to block us
off
 from view! This mornings papers are reporting how hecklers tried to
 interrupt Kerry as he spoke to the neighborhood gathering, but he turned
our
 chants to his favor by calling us rude. Even though most of the media
was
 there to record our stories of not being included in the neighborhood
forum,
 not one of them printed or aired the truth. This is what America will
look
 like if Kerry becomes president. Get registered and get all of your
friends
 registered to vote if they have not already. Kerry thinks that he is
better
 than the rest of us and he has the media on his side to make him out to
be
 what he is not! Finally, last night as I drove down the street where the
 rally was, I was shocked to see Bush/Cheney signs in almost every yard
on
 the street! Please send this e-mail on to as many people as you can. LET
 FREEDOM RING! "

Sounds like bullshit to me. "Imminent [sic] domain" to compel sign removal? Kerry's plenty dickish without fabrication, however well-intentioned.

While parts of it sound perfectly plausable based on how sKerry operates, too much of it pegs the meter.

If I, as a Bush supporter was told by the cops to remove any signs I had on my PRIVATE PROPERTY the answer would have been "no".  Things just don't work that way.

Hey guys, don't kill the messenger.  This was an email sent to me.  I thought I'd pass it on to see if anyone could validate or prove it BS.  There was a couple things that struck me as fishy, as well.  That's why I was hoping some Ohioans might have a scoop.

Here's how it would have played out.

COP: Sir, I'm going to have to ask you to take down the GWB campaign signs in your yard while Senator kerry makes an appearance.

Resident: I'm going to have ask YOU to get the fuck off my property before I lose my temper and you lose your fucking life. GO ON NOW, BOY! GIT!

Methinks this crapola too, but. . .

I was at the first debate at University of Miami, as I'm a student there. Chris Matthews was filming Hardball(s) live during and after the debate. I was standing right up front of the set with my "John Kerry For President (of France)" T-shirt, and right behind me were two other students carrying a giant red and blue GOP elephant made of A 4X8 SHEET OF PLYWOOD! (no kidding).

Well, the goon squad from MSNBC came over and told us that we had to move away, while a group of students carrying sKerry/Edwards signs were allowed to stay. I told-off the goons by telling them "let me make something clear to you, pal: my dad served 15 years in Castro's jails for armed rebellion against the Cuban dictator. This is Miami, not NY or Boston...if you try to move me, I'll have 200 radical right-wing, Kerry-hating Cubans here with just one phone call...Capiche?"

So this guy goes over to talk to Chris Matthews and Ronnie Reagan (talk about a gene pool accident for the "Ol Gipper"!), and comes back and says: "Mr. Matthews says you can stay".

How's that for the supposedly fictitious media bias?
