I was at Hollywood video recently and saw yet another sequel to the Sniper series. I thought the first one was okay, albeit very inaccurate, but the second one just fricken sucked. I can't imagine how much worse this one is:

I don't understand why Berenger accepts these crap roles. He's done great work in the past. He's whizzing his career down the toilet. Maybe he's taking career advice from Scott Bakula.

Actually, I am sort of glad that they did... you see, I watched about 10 or 15 minutes of the first one before I realized that it was possibly one of the worst movies ever made, guessing it was a standard 90 minutes of that drivel -- I was subject to say one sixth of it.
Sniper 2 further diluted my exposure to about one twelth... And a Sniper 3 will further cleanse the ratio to about 6% exposure -- bring on Sniper 3, I feel cleaner already!

ok, I'll be the first....What gun is that on the cover?
 Couldnt resist. BTW, it is an Accuracy International rifle. I too wonder why he accepts these jobs unless it was written in the original contract that he will due the sequels. One of my favorite movies is Last of the Dogmen in which he did a great job, IMO. CH |
