Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - is there a trick to remove the front sight (ar15 a2)

I loosend the 4 allen screws and took out the compression pin. but the damn gas tube is still locked in place. I tried to force it...but anymore I would break it.

What am I doing wrong?

btw ive never removed a gasblock/sight before

nevermind...I fixed it with a Cresent hammer
