Just about anything new worth having, is going to be a resource hog.
BTW, I use Mozilla Firefox. It's great. |

Opera minimum system requirements is a 166MHz for the java version, make sure you get the non-java version. You can also try something like this:
Off By One But you will not get some of the bells and whistles of bloated browsers like Mozilla and IE. |

Mozilla Firefox DOES NOT work for editing MSN website pages.

Firefox or Opera.
I run Opera on my 133 Mhz, 64 Mb, mini-laptop and it works just fine. A bit slower than my 3.0 Ghz, 1.5 Gb desktop but still it runs way faster then IE would ever run - if IE will even fit on a 20 Mb hard drive with Windows 95  .
