I'm getting a little tired of the 'tinfoil hat' business. I've been a lot of places that the average guy doesn't go, and seen things that the average guy doesn't see. Yes there is a lot of mis- dis- and just plain BAD information out there, but the verifiable truth is alarming enough....................
1. The detention camps exist. I have seen one with my own eyes. 2. The UN does challenge US sovereignty (sp?) Fortunately the UN can't pour piss out of a boot, buth the UN agenda is undeniable. 3. State Department Document #7277 exists. 4. There is a plan for world socialism. The political arm is called, by us, the New World Order. The religious arm is called the New Age movement. Read their own documents. Some of you call me paranoid, scoff, and make a joke of this. The US Constitution has been suspended since 1933, and the US gov't. has operated on an emergency basis ever since, renewed by Congress every 4 years. Where else does the President get the authority to issue executive orders? It is not in the Constitution! Scoff if you will, but first do your homework. |

Paspecops.....most have been so indoctrinated as to believe no conspiracy exists; they refuse to see the truth. I admire your stance. We must continue to watch or lose our freedom. I agree with you on one point, The US Constitution has been ignored for a long time and is being ignored more every day.
Ya, what is 7277... and if you search you can find the instructions for the right way to make a tin foil hat...that works. [;)] |

Yes, the constitution has been suspended since 1933!!! It was put back for a little while in 1976, but then revoked again.
For a brief summary, go to... http://www.ptialaska.net/~swampy/powers/powers_2.html It is noted with appropriate documentation. Read it... what do you have to loose but a couple of minutes of your time reading? |

I read that State Dept. paper. So what? It was issued in 1961. It's a peacenik pipe dream that every nation relinquish their armed forces except for foces to be put at the UN's disposal for peacekeeping. Big deal.

[red] PARANOIA IS A UN PLOT, DON'T FALL FOR IT STOP NOW [/red]
Really we live in a country that removed a President for lying about stuff after a bungled break in. Another President was almost removed becuase he lied about oral sex. If the "government" can't keep stuff like that secret how could they keep .001% of the stuff you claim is going on secret. GET REAL |
|
The problem is not that the UN isn't seen as a threat. They ARE seen as a very real threat to many of us. The problem is when bogus or out-of-context evidence is put forth as an example of the UN being a "bad thing".
For example, they post of "UN Vehicles on US Soil", which was clearly intended to foster the belief that the UN had invaded or was planning/preparing for one. Yes, there were some US Military vehicles that had gone on UN duty, and were returned to the US with their UN paint jobs intact. That is NOT the same as "the UN is preparing for an invasion." Now, do you feel, like I do, that it's a bad idea for US troops to participate in UN activities? And to be under the command of UN leaders (even if those leaders are nominally US soldiers)? If so, the SAY THAT. Don't post "tin foil hat evidence" to support your claim, but instead, make a reasoned arguement. You'll be taken much more seriously, and aren't as likely to be dismissed by most of the membership here. -Troy |

Conspiracy types will counter by saying "Because THEY control the media and have the media cover trivial distractions while the REAL events go on in secret".
Or if you doubt the conspiracy then you're just a duped apathetic sheep. I thought all this conspiracy stuff was true when I was a teenager. Read the books, listened to the AM radio talk shows, etc. I began to notice that people who believed in the conspiracy were a little, uh.....WEIRD and believed in a lot of other kooky stuff like aliens at Area 51, gold being the only real money and Christian fundamentalism. The more over-the top they got with their paranoia and suspicions, the more I doubted the veracity of their underlying premises. For example, if they're clearly wrong about fluoride being a mind-control agent or that the gov't is reverse-engineering flying saucers in Nevada, then what makes me think that their tales of an international conspiracy of Jewish bankers is anything but more paranoid speculation? |

As far as 7277, tell me what steps that have not already been taken? We get closer and closer to registration every year, as though gun owners themselves aren't already registered. Its frightening to see how well all the false-flag ops and/or "patriots for profit" such as Tom Valentine and Linda Thompson have done. Movies such as Conspiracy Theory, which mix a dollop of truth along with a heaping helping of disinformation have been of great benefit to that end as well.
Their hysterical rantings, along with those of many others, have helped to drown out the truth. Now, anyone who mentions the UN as a threat (in their presence of their actions...military or legal) is automatically tarred with the "black helicopter/tinfoil hat/UFO/Bigfoot" brush. paspecops (and others), keep it up. If everyone remains silent, and cant be bothered to look beyond what the mainstream media doles out as "information", we will have no chance to regain those Liberties we have lost up to this point. If anyone is seriously interested in examining the evidence and making their own conclusion, great. There are many here who will help you. Otherwise KMA. [:)] G2 |

It doesn't hurt to at least accept the possibility that these theories are true. Better to be suspicious of the federal gov't in case any of this turns out to be true, than to blindly follow what the gov't says.

Paspecops, your not alone, however many of us have gone through the process of reading and studying. We have listen to the idiots that grace the airwaves (for example a group that claim we will be attacked by the Irradians, and they have personal knowledge of it, but they can't quote verifiable sources). We have also stopped talking to most of the up and coming generatin simply because they have been programmed to disbelieve, and scoff at the notions of conspiracies to deprive us of our life and liberty. All of the many faceted groups represented as evil play only a small part in a great drama. Nothing in government or private power circles gets done without a group consensus, therefore by definition there is a conspiracy to foster upon the people some new or old idea that these groups feel a need to bring out.
Our rights as granted by God and defined as such by the founding fathers, stood at one time unassailed. Then they were put into a slow moving funnel. Go back years and examine the slow decline of our rights, not just our 2nd , but the right to think and speak our mind. Now if you are not politically correct in certain locations you can loose your job, be tarred as something that your are not, and possibly on the feds side of the equation be jailed. Remember that before the 68 gun control act, you could buy weapons and have them shipped to you without making out any paperwork. The slide down the funnel is picking up speed, and we are nearing an outlet, and I personally do not want to be in the kind of world an exit from the funnel will lead to. There is always a money (power) trail that will lead to a power group. This group in many of their own publications have made it clear what they intend for us useless eaters. One must cut through the babble of those self appointed voices of doom, and examine the original writings of these power groups, then compare them with laws that came out within a short time from the publication of the articles. If you do this you can begin to see where the "conspiracy" comes from. The bottom line is absolute power to control us in whatever way that the elite see fit. When they have deprived you of your God given rights, what will you fight back with??Words, good luck. |

Hmmmmm...
You know, it's been a while since I thought about or looked into the conspiracy thing. The John Birch society is long gone, but what better place than the INTERNET to espouse one's fear of plutocratic socialists plotting to enslave us all? So I went to www.amazon.com and check out the reviews of the book that started it all for me, "None Dare Call it Conspiracy" by Gary Allen. Anyway, someone mentioned a book called "Tragedy and Hope" by a university professor named Caroll Quigley which is basically the insider's history of the 20th Century. Quigley was President Clinton's favorite teacher and a huge influence on him (mentioned him in his 1992 inaugural speech, even). VERRRRRY interesting book, and I must say while I don't believe in the Illuminati or Trilateral commission plotting to enslave us, I definitely know there is a ruling class whom the governments of the world serve first, and their people a distant second. This book is the history of the world from 1914-1960 from their point of view. I just started it today. |
|
Paspecops, although I'm not completley convinced, I am open minded and willing to respect and entertain your views. I think this is the kind of place where those of who have feelings, should be able to express them without beinng flamed or labeled as alarmist.
Very thought provoking, I'm interested in learning more about this personally. |
|
Now do you all see why I don't even bother bringing up anymore of this stuff? I only mentioned 7277 here about 5 times including links and people didn't give a shit. I mentioned the fact at the Iran/Contra hearings that Jack Brooks had an echange with Daniel Inouye about the martial law plan by Oliver North and people didn't give a shit. What you do you get is bullshit by bringing up Linda Thompson who hasn't even been heard from in 5+ years. What you do get is the monkey see-monkey do "tin foil hat" and "black helicopter" bullshit. I don't care anymore. When, NOT IF, this all comes down in the next 5, 10, or 15 years at least I know I tried.
All of you naysayers keep enjoying your bread and circuses while you can because if you think you are going to be in the elite who won't be affected, you are sadly mistaken. |

I've been around the Patriot/survivalist/militia movement for quite some time. I have been a card-carrying member of the John Birch Society. I have worked in one of their American Opinion Bookstores. I have attended seminars with everyone from Louis Beam and John Trochman to Mark from Michigan and David Koresh's lawyer. I've had dinner with Bo Gritz, and discussed how he had personally had helped one of my co-workers who was in trouble for his Patriot beliefs. I've attended militia meetings and training events. I've had cameras and microphones shoved in my face by hostile reporters. I have attended Christian Identity churches and meetings. I have personally protested a "gay pride" parade with the folks from www.godhatesfags.com. I have personally stared down the leader of the Jewish Defense League, Irv Ruben, when he was harassing my co-religionists at a meeting. Not one week after this happened my car was vandalized and my name was being mentioned on a Los Angeles news radio station as being sought for questioning about the Nicole Brown murder! CNN was even calling my house! I'm not making this up! So when I say that the Patriot movement has been seriously harmed by its so-called leaders, who either make absurd claims or who harp on trivial matters of no practical consequence (blue humvees, military training in urban areas, etc), I know what I'm talking about. I'm gonna get crapped on my both sides of this argument for this post, but it needs to be said that this movement will amount to nothing if people continue to parrot the BS put out by the professional conspiracy mongers. Too many would-be patriots devour data about "the conspiracy", but don't have the werewithal to either separate the wheat from the chaff, or to put it all in proper perspective. Take the bible's advice, and seek wisdom first.
This was not intended for anyone in particular, lest anyone get their tender feelings hurt. |
