I sincerely hope the House passes this...
We NEED a better national ID than 'Social Security Cards' and 'Green Cards'... Think about it... Or maybe I should buy stock in Reynolds Wrap, it appears there are some pretty heavy users here... Go put a few more layers on, guys... |

Take my word for it, I'm a citizen Soy un ciudadano, es verdad!! Some day we'll at least come to grips with the fact that we will need a national ID to control our borders. Other strategies are welcome. |

We already have a defacto National ID via the SSN#
Hope the House passes it, and it gets signed into law. Then there'd be some pressure on the (D) states to stop granting driver's licenses to illegal aliens. |

Nope. And unfortunately a lot of gun buyers reinforce this fact everytime they refuse to enter theirs (SSN) on their federal background check. Welcome to Catch 22. |

I am a citizen of the State of Michigan. Why do I need anything more than a State ID? Will we need "National" ID's to move around the country? Nazi's..."Zie papiers pleeze". A national id is nothing more than more control over your life. Period. National ID....Kiss my ass!  |

Places like Miami, NYC, cities in Kalifornia, SSN's and Temporary and Permanent Residency ID's are sold by street minstrels, it wont be long before the losers figure out a way to conterfeit the holograms barcode whatever, we are being invaded by hordes of economically challenged foreigners (here in Florida mostly from the Caribbean, central and south Americas)who will do anything to get and stay here and violating the law is the least of their worries....SHTF is coming....
