Just what the world needs a muzzle loading credit card..

Gun Shop Debuts Credit-Card Shaped Shotgun
http://www.clickondetroit.com/news/3786913/detail.html
BTW there is a poll about concealed weapons on the above if you care to vote.

POSTED: 7:35 am EDT October 6, 2004

MINNEAPOLIS -- A new weapon coming on the market is not exactly the stuff of James Bond, but it's close.

A Minnesota gun maker has a new twist on the idea of concealable weapons: a credit-card shotgun.

The shotgun almost fits in your wallet.

The double-barrel firearm is made from a piece of metal about the size of a credit card -- and about half-an-inch thick with each barrel firing seven standard steel BB's. It retails for $100.

The Minneapolis manufacturer said the guns are for close-range self-defense.

They need a fair amount of time for loading. The user has to measure out gunpowder, pour it in each barrel, drop seven steel BBs in each barrel and tamp in a small wad of paper.

The gunmaker said it gives the owner a chance to flee an attacker. Skeptics said it would be useless in a crisis.

So it's a black powder muzzle loader?  Yeah, I'm gonna carry that around -- then whip it out in a crisis and hear two clicks as I realize the powder and BB's fell out into my pocket.

I believe that muzzleloaders are exempt from the NFA.

I always liked those knives with a gun in them.  Thought they looked useless too, but they are AOWs.

So the barrel points towards you when you are using the knife aspect of it...yet point the pommel at your opponent to fire?

Uh...doesn't sound too safe to me...or do I have it backwards?

Idiot, all this does is make the cops go beserk ranting about gang bangers carrying these things, the anti's pointing fingers and making noise. All over a dumb idea piece of shit. Hell It won't fire after one or two days in your pocket, the powder & cap will absorb moisture. A pice of Kleenex to hold the balls in will fall out after a little jostling in your pocket, not to mention the ability to effectively deploy the "weapon" during stress. I can see the lawsuits now for AD's, etc.  What a dumb ass, doesn't qualify even as a decent zip gun.

Get a P-32, P3AT, or derringer.

This is a novelty at best. I hope nobody will actually trust their life to this POS.

No, it's a muzzle-loader, and thus not a firearm under Federal law...

Nope, it skirts the AOW issue by being a black-powder firearm.

(But I'd check with your attorney just to make sure)

Hmmm, I think its so you can shoot yourself with a .22 when you are stabbing someone to death.  That way you tell the cops he shot you and you were just defeding yourself.  I dunno, the knife-gun is a stupid idea from the start.  I can't think of a single logical use, even criminal.

Shit, in NY you wouldn't even need a pistol permit to own that... unless you wanted to have the powder for it... lol... muzzle loading credit card!  Hmmmm or a P-32?

Yeah, as soon as you loaded it it would have to be on your permit, but it wouldn't be legal anyway, so I doubt you could get it on your permit.
