I have had this reciever for about 3-4 years Pioneer Vsx-d509s

My friend just got a new receiver with dts-2? and 6.1 .
My reciever of course had DTS and 5.1 but I was looking at this reciever on overstock

I know dennon is a high end reciever but is it really time for me to upgrade ?
My reciever seems to work just fine

If your reciever works fine, leave it alone. Save your money. These people in the electronic buisiness always coming up with something new.  Your reciever is fine, unless you just HAVE to have the latest and greatest, personally, i wait until the new crap gets cheaper to buy it. Keep in mind VCR's used to cost 500 bucks.
