Rum & Coke, the ingredient composing most of the mixture needs to be first!

1/2 and 1/2, had some Captain Parrot Bay coconut last night, drank half a bottle and barely had a buzz(42 proof) it was good though. When I go to a bar I order mixed drinks in a pint glass.

right on the nose here.

(oh yea, don't be a cheap wad, GET BACARDI)

BUT we're talking container (glass) size variables here. so; remember lots of ice, bacardi/rum first. then poor coke so it hits the inner side of glass (self mixing technique). when said & done: YOU SHOULD BE ABLE TO SEE TEXT while peering through glass-looking at paper on the other side. yes, at that point sir, you have yourself a 'comando' rum(bacardi) & coke.

magnessium/patassium tabs prior to consumption do wonders for preventative hagover methods.

Hate to say it, but...chick drink.

Pour yourself a nice Sapphire and Tonic with a wedge of lime instead.

Or a Scotch.  Maybe an Isle of Jura ot Johnny Walker Green.

Buy some Pritchards and you wont want to ruin it with Coke.  Why would you destroy the taste of a fine spirit with a soft drink?

Rum Jack Daniels 1

About $40 a liter at duty free.  I think it's only sold at duty free, I've never seen it anywhere else.  Better than the Black but not outrageously priced like the Blue.  Really smooth, a good blended Scotch.  Worth getting if you have a chance, it's unusual enough that it impresses people.  I get a bottle nearly everytime I go to Canada.

Same here. Never heard of green. Red's for mixing, Black's for drinking, Gold's for good friends, and then...

...there's Blue. WOW! I bought a bottle a few months ago and...WOW!!! That is some of the finest scotch I've EVER had. I only have ONE friend close enough to share a $175 bottle of Blue with. Wow.

Personaly, I just add a little Coke for color, if I add any at all.

I think the others have it right, though: 3/4 rum (+1 on the Baccardi) and 1/4 Coke.

First of all it is Rum and Coke and not the other way around. The correct ratio of rum to coke is 1:1.

It's 1/3 : 2/3's for most people.
