I've heard nylons can keep you warm in the cold, underneath your pants!

Well, nylons, like other things (knee braces, for starters), tend to ride down on men's legs because of the mass of their thighs.

Perhaps it's a simple case of nylons with something to hold them up? Other than that, it is fairly odd.

I can understand him dressing up as a woman to infiltrate enemy territory but nylons? Who the hell is going to look?

Go tell your opinion about wearing panty hose to some of our U.S. Special Forces troops.

They keep you warm and they are lightweight.

Just a joke, no offence meant.

Not to poke fun, him being hurt sucks, but having a picture taken of you while wearing pany hose. LMAO.

Hope he is going to be fine.

Looks like a bandage/turnicate (sp) to me. That plus a hary leg.

I thought I heard that they keep sand from tearing you up also.
Sure looks gay, but hey, if something works, fuck what anyone else thinks.

Its not uncommon to see soldiers wearing nylons during long road marches, keeps blisters from forming.

Don't intertwine your fantasies with facts.

They also help with chafing, Im not sure what the use is but wed wear dress socks over the GI socks to prevent blisters.....even though they looked gay.

... I've seen pics before (some posted by you Lumpy) of Israeli soldiers in pink tu-tu's with their lady friends. IIRC it was some kind of weird tradition having nothing to do with fags

Looks like a tourneqet to me…

BTW; British Royal Marines and Paratroops keep pairs of nylons in their kitbags… they do keep your leggies very warm for very liittle weight, they also make an excellent tourneqet.

Press Release: Battling sand flies: Soldiers in pantyhose! Seriously?
Date: Monday, September 13 @ 14:37:03 PDT
Topic: Soldier Technology and Future Infantry

Dealing with a Serious Problem...

Americans respect their men in uniform, but should their uniforms include women's nylons? Indeed, during the Gulf War and the current War on Terror, our fighting forces discovered that their legs needed protection from nasty, disease-carrying sand flies. Letters home to wives, girlfriends, sisters, and mothers pleaded, "Please send pantyhose! Seriously!"

These strange and unexpected requests made headlines around the United States, and patriotic, understanding, community groups of yellow-ribbon-wearing supporters heeded the call. Along with air conditioners and less-extravagant sundries and necessities, thousands of pairs of pantyhose were shipped to the Middle East in "care packages." Unfortunately, nearly all styles of pantyhose sold in supermarkets and department stores just are not designed for the male anatomy. The legs are too short, the waistband is too high on the torso, and there is insufficient room for "male anatomy."

Its a tournouquet, and his leg is kinda hairy. The position on the leg and not to mention one guy wearing BSI and another guy holding up an IV are a bit of a giveaway....

Lumpy... Is there something we should know about you bro?

don't ask, don't tell.

why do you think the guy on the left looks so worried about the camera?

You can see a foot-shaped shading against the stretcherbearer's side.  My guess is they cut his pants off but left his boots on.

So that's a tummy bandage, huh?  I thought it was a pair of gold lame' briefs.

If you enlarge the picture you can see that it is a tourniquet around his thigh,  and.... that he has really hairy legs.

I'd say he was about one nanosecound from returning fire!  That looks like a good place not to be!
