I'm going to buy another .45 and I've heard some good things about the Sig. I have a friend whose department just bought them for their tactical team. I had been contemplating a Springfield or a Kimber.

So does anybody out there have any experience with the Sig?

I've handled one and was not impressed with the fit and finish.  The trigger also sucked.  If the rail is what's motivating you, check out the Springfield Operator or Kimber has light rail models now as well.  I own a Kimber and a Springfield, both are excellent, but I'm more fond of my Kimber.
