Hi folks,

Anyone point me to a good 4X (or higher) scope with UNLIMITED EYE RELIEF
that would mount to the forward scope mount that comes with the SA M1A
Scout Squad Rifle ?

I don't think it's possible to have a 4X magnification with UNLIMITED EYE RELIEF.

Looks like an Aimpoint, EoTech, or one of those lesser red dot's for you.

What about a 2x or 3x "scout scope" with LONG eye relief - any suggestions on brand/retailer ?

you could always get an AIMPOINT 2x or.....

an aimpoint for the front mount and place an ARMS 18 over the rec'r for maginified optics...that way you could swap between them

#2 Burris 2.75X Scout

Both are very nice and made for this exact application.

The Natchez catalog (natchezss.com) has the both the Leupold and the Burris scout scopes at fairly decent prices.

I believe Leupold, Burris, and Bushnell are the only companies that made a Scout scope. a handgun scope can be used in a pinch, but the eye relief isnt the same.

I guess you could get a B.M.A.S. Rail Extension to mount the scope/optic further back.

I have one you could use for $30 shipped. Just an idea, disregard if it doesn't suit your taste.
