PMI and John Masen are good mags.

The only factory mags made for the Mini-14 at this time are five rounders and Ruger has stated they have no intrest in making any with more capacity.  The early 20 rounders sell for $70 to $100. each.

Heard good things about the Masen's, but never tried any.

I have never had a problem with PMIs.

PMI & Federal ordance mags are just as good as ruger factory mags (Fed Ord made the factory mags for ruger, Were sold & are now PMI mags) PMI are excellent & still Available from Gun Parts corp Mini 14 Mags , They are the $28.80 mags; You have to be specific with Gun parts corp, Make sure you call & tell them PMI is all you will accept.

Beware of All other aftermarket ruger mags, I have not had luck with any!

I saw a link somewhere yesterday for a company that had Ruger 20s and 30s for 32.00
Sorry I do not remember where. It was on AR15,  Falfiles, or Gunsnet.

PMI's are the best. I had some fitting problems with the John Masons. I have real good luck with Western Magazines and they work real well in my Mini-14,

That's BS.  They're stepping on their own dicks by not doing that.  They could sell a ton of those.  Idiots.

Since I own Fed Ord/PMI and have in the past owned Ruger 20's, I can say that the PMI's work just as well, are just as well made.  In fact, I sold the 20's way before the ban.  Why have 20's when PMI 30's were giving me perfect feeding?

Also, the PMI 40's feed well, too.  The 40's don't fit in my other pouches.  I keep two loaded for nocturnal "around the house" use.
