Mesh with a thong is better, but they usually wore a one piece right?

... If we are really serious of making such matters germane to picking out the 'real' Miss America, then maybe we need a team of nationally recognized gynecologists to select the most attractive 'nether regions' among all the candidates!

I'd like to just go ahead and volunteer my services for this engagement right now.

Miss Florida Jenna Edwards, who describes herself as "a little top-heavy," chose the two-piece but had to get a replacement for the top because it didn't fit.

RIIIGHT!!!

That girl has the PERFECT set of boobs and wanted everyone to know it......

YUMMY.

I just RTFA.

"You may see someone on stage who doesn't have the ideal (body).

And I have one question: WTF are these girls doing in a beauty pagent if they don't have an ideal body?

They've finally moved into the twentieth century.
Too bad we're in the twenty first century.

A friend of mine had a nice vintage convertable which one day, he had down in Atlantic City.  This was years and years ago.  The pagent promoters saw it and approached him about using it in the pagent where they put all the contestants, one each, in the back seat of fifty covertables and drive to the convention center in a procession.  So guess what?  He ends up doing this gig every year for seven years (of course it's his car so he gets to drive).  At any rate, he says that he was never very impressed with any of the women.  They all behaved like a bunch of spoiled brats who never did anything in their lives except compete in beauty pagents.

Nice. All images removed. Beyond simply quoting the CoC, can anyone explain the reasoning for this?

Somehow, the AP, that is the Associated Press, and Yahoo both can display these images without some obligation to "warn" their readers, yet we at ARFCOM cannot?

CC rule #2, *.

2.) Posting pictures* or links to images which contain pornography, nudity+, animal cruelty, racism, or sexism. (Any images of violence which are extreme will be removed and may result in a warning or worse.)

*Posts with images of violence or photos of scantly clad men or women should contain a warning in the title. These types of images will not be tolerated if inserted at random in other discussions.

That might be fine to do, but people as they are, get a bit out of hand with that, so any posts that contain pixs of women must have a BOTD warning in the title.

I said beyond merely quoting the CoC, what's the reasoning for it?

The title mentioned "bikinis." There was no nudity. Major news organizations run these images without "warning."
