Because the traffice level sucks, and the prices are such that it is almost impossible to get a good deal like you used to get on pre-ban days of Ebay. I agree with the "airsoft" titles. I have gotten some stuff since their ban days that way. What do you expect from the fatazz soccer mom who owns it (I saw a show that told me that).

Had my account locked on ebay for selling high cap mags. F*&( them. Have since sold everyting on gunbroker or auction arms. |

EbaY Gave me several Warnings for selling USGI 30 USGI M14 20 round mags They said Next time your account will be closed. I Have since quit Selling stuff on ebay. I Hate The Commie Pukes

Yep used to buy things off ebay daily but got kicked off twice I even tried the airsoft idea on some hk scope mounts but no go still ended them and booted me off. You can get by with it for about 10 times though before they do anything. Now I only use gunbroker and A.A. sometime

It is all in the wording. With the right "keywords" they will be found by the people who know what they are.
You could even list it as "only fits non-working toys" and the bidder will know better. Was able to list high capacity mags a while ago by just saying it only holds 5 rounds.

Ebay's policy does suck, but the real problem are the self appointed Ebay police. Let's face it, Ebay probably found out about you auction from some narc. That is what pisses me off.
I listed a "model 20" magazine, and specifically listed in the Ad I would not ship to Kalifornistan. Some Kali Ebayer e-mailed me with a question why I wouldn't sell the mag if it was legal to list. A day later, I get cancelled. You probably got narced on like I am sure I did. F' Em |

In your auction, be sure to ask your bidders to send you a message so you can continue the bidding if your auction is cancelled.
I recently listed a FLAMETHROWER (a real one!) on ebay for a friend of mine. Ebay's fees would have been a couple of hundred bucks if they had allowed the auction to complete but they cancelled it. The bidding continued anyway, via email. Suckers! (Ebay, that is...) CJ |
