Check out that map! Wow! Currently that guy is projecting Kerry 223 against Bush at 311! |
Looks like I might just get my wish from yesterday then.
I asked for IL and they are FAR less blue than yesterday. Nice development. Anyone else happen to notice that he's even slipping a bit in CA? If the demoncraps can't even carry Kalistan then they've got MAJOR problems. |
The part I love is Illinois...Barely Kerry! I wonder if Don King's campaigning and radio messages are having an effect on the west and south sides?
Wow..it might be a landslide after all.
KEEP THE PRESSURE ON! ETA: Wait....NJ is listed as barely Bush? what the...? |
I have predicted a Bush landslide for a long time now...Bush will likely get at least 300 Electoral Votes...
Hopefully nobody gets lulled into a false sense of security. We all need to actually vote in November to make these predictions come true.
ETA - Conclusion: Kerry is slipping is some states where he was way ahead, but is making a comeback in the real battleground states. |
bush is 4 points up in nj per survey usa.
Minnesota should be barely bush - they appear to be using a minneapolis red star tribune poll numbers, which skew heavily against republicans. Newer, better polls show bush up by 2 in minnesota. |
Actually I hate red.. but damn that is a beautiful site.
It won't make lax though, no worries, still spreading the word and I will be at the polls. |
Hehehe. I'm waiting to hear news reports of dem disillusionment in mid november.
I don't know much about Minnesota, but I always thought it was a pretty conservative place. The solid blue kindof suprises me. |
If there is a GOP landslide with the Dems STFU for a few months???
GunLvr |
As I looked at this site I decided to refresh myself on the electoral college and came across this. They are explaining why it's difficult to change the system to a popular vote. "The fact that nearly all the low-population states are heavily Republican adds to the difficulties of changing the system. Direct election of the president would eliminate the current bias in favor of the Republicans." |
i hear ya buddy. they'll be dragged out of crack houses & bussed to the booths by the thousands. |
No, but the collective heads at DU will explode like the dude in "Scanners"... I'll have popcorn and beer SG |
But, if it's not close they can't cheat! (recounts, courts) |
My brother spent several months in St cloud a couple of years ago, he got the feeling they wree damn good people there, but definatly liberal (of course my brother probably couldn't tell you who is the DNC nominee for the presidential race this year). |
Check out their projection for the election. Kerry 181 Bush 306

It wouldn't surprise me in the least if this is precisely the lineup of Electoral Votes in November!
311 Electoral Votes for President Bush is jes' fine with me! Since only 270 are needed to win! Eric The(PleasedAsPunch)Hun |
223? That's bad karma....
I guess 7.62 really is better than 5.56!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |
Damn, WA is the only strong sKerry state on the west coast on Diss_ipators link. Too many hippies in Seattle! Sorry guys....
I hope the election is a HUGE blowout, just because I can't wait to watch the democratic party completely collapse.
And New Jersey--surely the apocolypse is near! But I'm lovin' it! |
Why are they still using red? I thought red was supposed to be replaced with the more friendly purple?
...and replace it with a system where the residents of the 10 largest cities in the USA will determine the election every time...no, thanks... |
There is no way Kerry is going to carry Tennesee. No way in hell.
Minnesota's the land of Humphrey, Mondale, and Wellstone. But there is hope for the state. Most of the counties in the state went for Bush in 2000, Gore took the highly populated Metro area, the iron range, and a couple of other outstate counties. I think my county was approximately 70% Bush last election, my precinct was about 90% Bush. |
How about a link? The "bias in favor of the Republicans" means the will of the friggin' people of the United States of America! You are obviously visiting a Leftist site. The pre-determined conclusion of it being "best" to replace the current system just SCREAMS Left-wing agenda. Sheesh--study deeper, the infinitely-wise Founding Fathers deliberately sought a system OTHER than popular vote to elect a POTUS--to avoid large population centers (cities mostly) running roughshod over rural areas. The current system is the fairiest system--by far. It does NOT "favor Republicans" other than being the will of the people. Bottom line--we do NOT live in a Democracy--we are blessed to live in a Constitutional Representative Republic for a reason! The Democrats have for decades promoted the idea of "Democracy" due to the obvious word association which their stupid-ass constituency will make. Informed and educated people will NOT vote for Democrats. |
That's exactly the reason why the Electoral College is in place. It keeps a few large population centers from deciding how the rest of the country should be governed. Take the examples of California into account. The sheer numbers of liberals on the coast overwhelm the rest of the states. If you went strictly by counties, California is a conservative state. Remember the Alamo, and God Bless Texas... |
Love the data...but that site is the shnitz! Loved the final map option where you can overlay the current map to see how the numbers are trending.
Good news! |
Oregon is only Barely Kerry! 3%. Those numbers give me a spark of hope for the people of this state.
actually thats really only part of the reason. mostly the purpose of the electoral college was to protect the country from direct democracy. Just in case the people really lost their heads and overwhelmingly supported a charismatic dictator, the state legislators could send electors with a little bit of wisdom to make sure a tyrant never got elected. btw, that electoral-college.com site is pretty biased. tack on about 2-3 more percentage points to bush to whatever that guy says. MAINE is TIED??? I thought maine was just Massachusetts North... |

I think they should drop the electorial system.
There are 51 states, The canidate with the most states wins the election. |
The constitution ain't broke so why do we need to fix it? |
There are 50 states. DC needs to be dropped from the POTUS election, it is not a part of the United States. If the people living there don't like not being able to vote, they can move to an actual state. If Puerto Rico, Guam, and USVI can't vote for the Pres, then why can DC?
This is the reaction to the news that Ted Kennedy is hitting the campaign trail for Kerry....
Can anybody explain the 6% voting for Nader in the Northwest states? I didnt think there were that many socialist living on sheep ranches and potato farms.
Re: Nader...
He's getting a swell in votes as the "anybody but bush" crowd realizes Kerry will likely lose. As that happens, they decide not to vote their fears (a Kerry vote), but to vote their twisted warped communist shit twinkletoed cocksuking marxist inspired liberal dreams (i.e., Nader). Its the same thing that's happening in Texas: Bush has it so wrapped up that a LOT of gun owner types are going to vote for Bardanick |
Um, if you're going to convince people of the validity of your position, you should at least learn how many states there are in the United States of America. |
