The new CNN poll was just released and among likely voters, Bush now leads 45% to 44% for Kerry! Ah ha ha ha ha ha. If Kerry is trailing in the Walter Mondale state, he is as they say...."f#$ked"! This also the Hubert Humphrey state.

Just think, Kerry was up by at least 9 points in the last poll in Minnesota. Man, Kerry is really falling on his face. God, I hope this trend keeps going!

I wish Bush could get some traction here in Michigan.  The entrenched liberals in Detroit, Ann Arbor and Grand Rapids have a real love affair with John F'n Kerry and it just sickens me to think that this state went to AlGore in 2000 and is going to go to sKerry in '04...

Paul Wellstone's (RIP) state?  Holy SHIT this will have the folks over at DU having kittens.  They have always considered Minnesota to be a liberal stronghold.

Bad for Kerry...good for America.

Would it be too much to ask of New Jersey to get on board too? We are close. I'd love to see Bush take MN, WI, NJ and PA. If he can get those 4 states, I think this election will be a landslide.

It seems I heard in a previous thread that Michigan is by no means a lock for Kerry in this election. I hope that is the case. Perhaps the race is tightening for Kerry somewhat in many states he had a substantial lead a month or two ago.

So in other words, if they weren't counting the dead vote from Chicago, Bush would be up in Illinois by 5 points?

It's a long way until November.

All I can say is that me and all the Republicans I know are doing everything we can to help W out in IL.

If it werent for Chicago he would win here easy.

That poll is NOWHERE on CNNs site - do you have a link to it?

Yep, they're trying to compare CNN/Gallup poll with the really bad Star Tribune polls. The trib shows 50-41 Kerry, but it was a complete joke in 2000, I saw other polsters making fun of the trib's methodology back then.
