There is no such thing as an LEO rifle after the AWB expired.

He probably meant that most of the rifles readily available will be old and used because they will come from the LE community and from now on manufacturers don't have to mark the receivers.

I didn't get that either.
I thought LEO marked rifles were full auto, but it sounds like there's another level of LEO rifle that just fall under the crime bill. In other words, the rifles are semi-auto like all the others, but come with a flash-hinder and a collapsible stock and maybe even a bayo lug. I guess another feature, would be it comes with a 30 round mag instead of a 10.  Those rifles are obviously used and now can be purchased as used rifles. |

how are they 'used' if you are not buying them from an auction site or a private individual but buying them directly from a retailer who dealed to the law enforcement community?
