My fiancee just saw Annie Lennox and Sting in concert earlier this week  ... certainly no politics mentioned at the concert AFAIK. |

Good for her! Y'know, I'd have a lot less problems with people no matter who they supported if they simply showed some judgement & maturity like this.

When I saw Sting was touring, I expected some anti-Bush sentiments at his concerts, so I am surprised that you say there wasn't. |

Though I am suprised at Ms. Lennox' logical choice in this matter... I can assure you that she IS typical of the bleedin' hearts when it comes to philosophy.
Still if all the bleedin' hearts would act in this mature manner, I would be fine with them. |

I see nothing wrong with celebrities getting involved in polotics any more than Mrs. Smith on the corner getting involved. They pay taxes and they have have a say in their governemtn. However, I have a problem when they use their celebrity as the platform for their politicism. They are just as educated about politics, if not, less than your average Joe. |
