I read that article this morning.  Those folks truly understand the horrors of tyranny.  Imagine being helpless while watching your friends, family and neighbors dragged away to their deaths.  A true living nightmare.  Our PC world has so sheilded our children from the horrors of the past that they truly don't know and don't understand.  My wife complains often that I watch too much history channel.  She says its all war and hitler all the time.  She wanted to know why I watch and have the children see such horrors.  I told her simply, so that they know what has happened and what not to let happen again.  These folks are living history and tell a true tale of one of humanities darkest periods.  Their story should not be lost.  Unfortunately that generation is dying off Rapidly.  Just this week we lost my uncle.  He was a WW2 vet, naval aviator, dive bomber pilot.  His stories will likely be told no more.  His hit on an enemy ship, now has no color, just a statistic of war.  These folks should preserve their story on film and it should be mandatory viewing in all schools.
