I have a Tilia foodsaver. It works OK but I wouldn't waste the $$$ again - ziplocks work just as well.

I used to use ziplocs on the fish I caught and it always suffered freezer burn.
I have Albacore, Dorado and Yellowtail from last summer that still tastes fresh. No feeezer burn at all!!! I'm sold on Foodsavers! |

I have a $60 Black & Decker unit from Wall-Mart, I personally didn't have any problems with the unit, but one of the guys in the survival forum had the motor burn out it there, he says he going to get a better unit. The problem I have with mine is the heater is does not get hot enough(have enough power) to seal in things with liquids such as marinades in the plastic bags. I've used mine's with the rigid plastic dishware and it works good.
