Not worth much. I have a COMPLETE SET of 1986 cards. About the same as what I paid for them. 15.00 for the set. Unless there are a few cards like a Barry Bonds or Mark McQuire rookie cards... those are wort what, $2.00? Now your kid's kids will make money... Not you or your kids. Sad... I know. NOW HOT WHEELS on the other hand... Buy them now for 1.00 each or .50 and lock them away somewhere for a few years... I have one that I bought 2 years ago for 1.00 and is worth 20.00 now. |

Most of the online guides are not free from what I've seen. They usually are offered on a subscription bases. Best bet would be to go to Ebay and do a search of completed auctions for the specific card you are curious about. 1990 has the Sosa rookie....cannot remember any others right now. They probably are not worth much......sorry to say as I have a lot of them too.

I've got a bunch sitting at my parents house. At least, I *think* they're still there. All from the mid to late 80s and some very early 90s.
I'll have to go back and see if I have a sosa rookie card the next time I'm back there visiting. I know they're all in good shape, assuming I still have them, as all I did was pull 'em out of the foil wrap and stick them in those plastic pages for binders. Then they sat on the shelf. And weren't looked at again.

Found a ton of old ones in a book once. They had the players inside of tv's looked like they where from the 50's or 60's

By the way......Bonds card is a 1987 rookie card and McGwire is a 1985 Topps, as a member of the U.S. Olympic team (the other companies didn't come out with his till 1987). Here's a shot of my autographed McGwire rookie card

I've got some rookie cards from the 70's and 80's. If I want to know what they're going for I'll check eBay.
