my scanner picked up two people chatting on one of the gmrs frequencies. I don't have them labled on the scanner other than it was gmrs, no channel numbers, might have to change that. This happens many nights, next time I'll be ready with my motorola talkabout to see what channel it is. First she talked about how she kept driving down the wrong streets. Then the guy mentioned his friend is running off a generator right now because some one hit the power pole. The guy says he might get a generator. Then the girl says "but don't you have satellite? why would you need a generator?" At this point I'm laughing and wishing i had my talkabout out to try to get her to hear me laughing. There's a longer than normal pause the the guy says "do you really think I get power from that?" She's like "but it always has signal." After a few more minutes she gets home and they say goodnight.
