I remarked to my wife about Dick Cheney being a good man, and the things that must be known and talked about and shared with The President.
She agreed, saying it must be extremely difficult for them to share the burden of the world's problems and not be able to talk to some people about them. When I listened to the speech and watched the MAN, Dick Cheney, it seemed to me that he indeed is the right person for this job of Vice President of the United States. Beyond politics. I hope the Electoral College reflects this in November. |

He is indeed a hardass. I've always admired him, and I don't doubt that he is someone whose opinion W values highly. He will sodomize Edwards in the debates to an unprecedented extent. I'd love to see him be president in 2008, but sadly too many people think Mr. Cheney heads up the "Halliburton world domination conspiracy™" for that to happen.

Your Father deferred to him! Vice President Cheney received the Presidential Medal of Freedom back in 1991 for his service in the First Gulf War as Secretary of Defense. And who can forget his 'The Wheel Has Turned, Your Time is Up' Speech at the 2000 GOP Convention! Eric The(Admiring)Hun

Cheney is great. I'm so happy he is our vice president and I loved his speech. I love how one of the fox analysts said his speech was bland and not exciting. That is not what he is about. He is a measured, thoughtful, intelligent man and that is the type of speech he gave. It is very comforting to know he has the presidents ear. Loved it.
