ArmaLite/Eagle Arms and Cavalry Arms have teamed up to offer you the new Eagle Arms polymer lower receivers. These receivers are injection molded from glass filled nylon 6, and they are corrosion resistant, very durable, and significantly lighter than aluminum based receivers.
From the Armalite site. Key word is TEAMED UP. Sounds like a wise business decision. And you sir are a  Sgatr15 |

What if I want CAVARMS on the lower not EAGLE. I'm a local boy in Phoenix and don't want to see a MANUFACTURER go away. I've been at shoots with Shawn and got to use the PRODUCT and was very impressed. I am concerned about QUALITY and BRAND recognition.

This is a great thing for both companies.
For Armalite, it gives them an amazing product to sell and compete with Bushmaster's Carbon15 line. Anyone who knows the CavArms crew and their lowers, knows they are at the top of the game. From what Bushmaster has been doing with the Carbons, they get better each and every run. Now we have the two top AR companies selling top notch products. This should hopefully push prices down a bit and ensure that the lowers get better each year. As for CavArms, this allows them to deal with a single entity for a huge portion of their business and thus focus on manufacturing and new products. I'm sure Shawn is very excited about this as it will only make them stronger! It's a win-win situation, no question about that. The prices on Armalite's site to introduce these aren't bad either!

Better get hot, 'cuz they ain't makin' no more with the CavArms stamp! BTW - The manufacturer is not going away. The product and production are not changing at all, other than the name-stamp on the receiver. If anything CavArms will be growing larger as a result of this move. |

Guys...no worries...we are still here and better then ever. There are still a few hundred CAV-15's for sale (Quantico Arms, Ameetech, Brownells, X-Ring Precision, Alan Samuels out of Colorado and Lightfighter)...There are: Black, Green, Coyote, Yellow, Pink and Purple lowers still to be had.
We are working on a possible licensing agreement with Eagle Arms for us to run and sell exclusively the "colors" (blue, yellow, gray etc.). They don't want to commit to a large number of lowers that in reality sell poorly, but we know that they do sell (just not in any kind of large numbers). If you are looking to get a lower I would hop on it now while the prices are stupid cheap, in 6 months they are going to cost about $50+ more expensive… |
