HI.

Need a Gunsmith in the DFW area (Read: Within 20 minutes of BUrleson TX) that can inspect my CMP SA SG M1 Garand before I leave for college. I was hoping to have it inspected at ON-target but they said it would take about a week-and I leave for college Wed. Morning.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Get in touch with Jim Scrivner at Lee's Gun Parts in Irving.  He is a top-notch Garand mechanic.

Gene Williams at Collin County Gun Range is also a good guy to deal with. If he can't help you, he may be able to point you to someone in your area.
