Been there done that for 8 years, Had the fusion surgury and been back pain free for 2 years but I picked up sciatic pain in the right leg as a side effect. I am now on a few meds for that and feeling alot better.
I know your doc was trying to get you to use some other meds and you didn't want to but maube you should get a second opinain. Before surgury I just didn't have good days anymore. pain leads to depression and it affects the rest of you too. Otherwise ICE/heat whichever works and watch your posture and try to get some exercise (if possible) swim classes/rehab may work too. good luck man. |

I just get tired of it OP. Every damn time I thgink about working I seam to get serious back pain...which to me means a sign from God that I am going in the wrong direction.
SOmetimes I wish He would be a little clearer in His directions. Just tired of hurting...so tired.... Sgtar15 |

I am not up to date on what is wrong with you .... back trouble? disk problems?
I've had back surgery twice ... then broke my back last year ... that last one had devine intervention .. long story, but Im willing to share ..... anyway ... I am now 100% (well maybe 98%  ) ...

Start the day off by drinking and just go sit in your pool.
It will help your back a little. Sorry you have to go through this. Been there.

Hey Sarge, i indirectly feel your pain!
my wife finished outprocessing from the USAF, she has a lower back problem she has spondy with a grade 1 slip.. permanent, non operable. im going to be takin care of her from now on. put her on restriction, she's not allowed to lift anything over 5 lbs, or stand on anything higher than a step stool! flexyril (sp?) |
